spotlight on sedona
Lisa Hering
The most unique phenomenon I have ever seen is when Sedona's mountains are lit up by the sun like a spotlight. The sun is really just poking through the clouds and so the areas around the hole are somewhat darker. When I first saw this, coming from the big city of Houston, I thought something was going on like a night time football game lit up by those gargantuan flood lights, only to find that this is a natural occurrence and one indeed worth photographing.
