snag on brins

My favorite subject, snags.  I hope this one never falls.  It's on the way up to Brins Ridge and I've seen it again recently after having taken this photo about a year ago.  This is a nice lunch spot.  Someday it will be gone, but preserved for some time in this photo.  I especially like the way this photo turned out.  In fact, a frame and print shop in Hillside bought 6 copies (5X7's) to frame and sell from his shop.

Note:  The Sedona fire of summer 2006 destroyed all trees in this area.  In late 2006 it looked like a moonscape.  As of early spring 2007 it has regrown small vegetation, but the snag is gone.
